The internet says: open until 9 p.m. ... the sign in front of the entrance says: admission until 8 p.m. ... we were there at 7.30 p.m. today, there were at least 2 tables free ... but the waitress welcomed us with the words: Unfortunately nothing works today! Disappointing! Honest! I wouldn't want to come here anymore!

Very nicely furnished restaurant. Everything freshly prepared and only fresh ingredients. The service is friendly and always has a casual saying on their lips. You feel good there. The fish was spot on, the fried potatoes were delicious and the plate was nicely arranged. Price was completely ok for it. Gladly again next year. Please reserve in advance. Better.

We tried the fish soup, the fish platter and the fish gyros. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely go back here. But nothing works here without a reservation.

Today we went to Jacobs fish restaurant and didn't know what to expect based on the reviews. I can say - it was great -. The landlady is super friendly and has her heart in the right place. She lives the gastronomy and one should understand certain statements simply with humor. We found it very pleasant. But now to the food: We had both fish and meat and we were all thrilled. Huge portions for a very good price and all delicious. The fish is fried to the point and super seasoned. The fried potatoes were super crispy. The schnitzel is very tender and with a crispy and well-seasoned breading. We now say that it was the best meal we ate on this holiday and that was a lot. Go on like that. Thank you for the culinary delight. And no, the evaluation was not written by the landlady, as is so often claimed

We were offended because the dog was with us and were instructed how to hold the card. The landlady always has a cheeky saying on her lips. A nicer way of dealing with the guests would be desirable.

We ended up here by accident looking for something edible. And we were not disappointed. I can say that it was the best meal in our week on Rügen. The fish soup is awesome and the captain's plate requires a healthy appetite. Even if we showed up a little later, the reception was very nice and friendly and that went on for the evening. I don't think there was anything fresh on our plates. The fish were tasteless and most likely frozen. None were served whole. Vegetables probably came from a tin. Located 200m from a harbour, I'd expect a fish restaurant to do a bit better. On the plus side, this food works well for kids or people who don't like fish much. The place itself and service were ok. Also, not having an English menu (or speaking any language but German) in a tourist area is a bit weird.

I didn't have a chance to try their food. At 8:30 PM, when I with family entered the restaurant, lady at the bar told me that it's not possible to make food orders any more since it's too late, looking at me like she's wondering how can I even think that I can get food at that time. For me it's unacceptable that I can't order food at 8:30. It was a summertime, still a daylight outside. Even chickens were still awake.

Very friendly staff ... When we got in we were greeted very warmly and took our daughter (2 years) was immediately surprised with books puzzle and crayons. Of course our dog was allowed to come in as well. Food is delicious and everything fits. So you want to eat. Highly recommended.
